A study published by the British Journal of Nutrition had some pretty interesting things to say about Omega-3 as it pertains to body weight. Apparently, people with higher levels of omega-3 in their blood were noted to have significantly healthier weights. The study took people of all sizes, looked at hip circumference, waist size and BMI. People who took omega-3 supplements were not included in the study and the levels of omega-3 in the blood were measured after a prolonged period of fasting.
